Who Dat? 'Dat be the Cardinals, Mr. Brees

Who'd would'a thought? When Kurt Warner announced his retirement last year, I cried, went out and bought his jersey for safe keeping and mourned the loss of my Cardinals chances at any winning season. When we fired alternate QB Matt Lineart, and put in a guy I'd never heard of, it was officially over. Checking the schedule for this next and seeing the Saints icon, I was tempted to not even watch the game. Now, on our fourth quarterback, an undrafted rookie named Max Hall, I made the snap decision to view the game instead of the Dallas/Tennessee Thriller that was playing out on NBC. And holy cow, was it ever a game.

My "little" Cardinals, (they're like the little kids on the sandbox next to all those teams,) played an absolute thriller of a game to stun the Super-Bowl Champion Saints and Drew Brees this Sunday, 30-20. Max Hall took his new position with maturity and seriousness, getting the defense pumped before the game. This team is in need of a leader, we had it in Kurt Warner, and it seems that Hall sees this. Whatever happened, it worked, and definitely looked the best they've looked all season.

I've had a bit of a chip on my shoulder since the Cardinals lost to the Steelers, (there are few teams I hate as much as the Steelers and Ben Roth-hamburger,) and then my Colts lost to the upstart Saints the following year. So, lets just say that this was a moment great victory and leave it at that.

Who dat Saints, who dat?
