Needed to post something happy...
Yes, the recent string of saddness in the racing world has left the ones invested in racing (including me) deply miserable. Even Wait A While's "doping" incedent made me feel low. I guess the need to report something pleasing has been overpowering, so here you go. It's better to concentrate on Funny Cide's new, happy life than the ones that have passed on and the displeasing things occuring in on and around the racetrack. Other happy things happening: Black Mamba will be appearing in the Turf Cup this Saturday against males, Baroness Thatcher is back in the Bayakoa after her sale, and Kodiak Kowboy will remain in training, under one of my favorite trainers: Larry Jones. Here's hoping he and Larry have a happy, injury-free year.

hey the bad cat raced last week..a short race and he did not fare so well..he had a long time off and i am sure we will see him get back on track..old fashioned has stolen my heart already..i really hope that larry jones and rick porter get blessed this year with this guy..be nice to see another big beautiful grey on the first saturday in may!
